Inthisstudy,1-monthcontinuousradiosondeobservationaldatawereappliedtopresentthelow-altitudeverticalstructuresandtheirevolutionsovertheCentralTaklimakanDesert(CTD).Theprimaryfocusistohighlighttheverticalstructuresnearthegroundwiththehigh-resolution(10minheightand6hrintime)radiosondedata.Oneoftheuniquefeaturesevidentinourresultsisanobviousdiurnaltransitioninlowerlayersnearthegroundduetostrongsurfaceheatingorcooling.Unlikeatraditionalverticalstructureintheboundarylayerobservedoveranondesertsurface,bothsuperadiabaticandinversionlayersaredistinctduringtheday.Morespecifically,thesuperadiabaticlayerisobviousinthedaytimebecauseofstrongsolarradiationoverthedesert,andthesuperadiabaticcanreachupto0.2km.Incontrast,anapparentinversionlayerformsinthenighttimeduetothesurfacecooling.Itisfoundthatthesurfaceforcingmainlydominatesthestructuresintheboundarylayer.Atlast,theverticalstructuresfromtheobservationsare
